Open Water Swimming Survey At Jamie's Swim Camp

Open Water Swimming Survey At Jamie’s Swim Camp

At Jamie’s Swim Camp 2.0 at Hidden Valley Lake in California, there will be channel swimmers (English Channel, Catalina Channel, Tsugaru Channel, Cook Strait, Strait of Gibraltar, Maui Channel, Kaulakahi Channel, Cayman Brac Channel), marathon swimmers (Great Salt Lake, Lake Tahoe, Windermere, Lake Biwa, Five Lakes of Mount Fuji, Manhattan Island Marathon Swim, Tampa Bay Marathon Swim), open water swimmers (Waikiki Roughwater Swim in Hawaii, Great Chesapeake Bay Swim, King and Queen of the Sea, and Midmar Mile), Ironman triathletes, hard-core endurance athletes and ice swimmers.

They will be banging out the mileage, swapping swimming stories and workouts, sharing hydration, feeding and transition tips, and getting motivated for their upcoming races and solos. From Wendy Ingraham famously crawling to the finish of the Hawaiian Ironman (shown below) to Paul Lundgren discussing his upcoming 76-mile attempt across the Sea Cortez, there will be a smörgåsbord of information and inspiration.
