Explorer Eric Larsen reached the summit of Mount Everest yesterday to become the first person to trek to the North Pole, South Pole and the summit of Mount Everest in the same year.

The very first. No one can take that away from him – “The First” will always be his legacy. 6 billion people on Earth and billions before that and Eric is The First to do something in all of human history.

Some open water swimmers are also interested in becoming The First.
