Tonight at 7:00 pm Pacific Time, the first live session of the Pacific Masters Virtual Clinic as part of the WOWSA Coaches Education Program will be held.
The weekly presenters include WOWSA founder Steven Munatones, WOWSA Chief Executive Officer Quinn Fitzgerald, elite distance freestyle star Chad La Tourette, MEMO Founder & Coach Marcia Benjamin, Ocean Positive Bruckner Case, and Oceans Seven swimmer Antonio Argüelles.
Among the topics that will be discussed tonight are ‘Open Water Safety‘ with Steven Munatones and ‘A Swimmer’s First 1k Open Water‘ with Coach Benjamin. In Week 2, Chase will talk about ‘Marine Environment & History of the Sport and Swimming the San Francisco Bay’. In Week 3, La Tourette will talk about ‘Pyramid of Success & Equipment and Race Tactics in Competitive Open Water’. In Week 4, Argüelles will talk about ‘Psychology & The Art of Marathon Swimming’.
