Peacefully Running Along The Coast

International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame inductee Sri Chinmoy started the Peace Run in 1987.

Lexie Kelly and dozens of other open water swimmers will participate in the 27th annual Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run – a global torch relay that includes athletes from more than 100 countries – on its North American route as it passes through Long Beach, California on June 8th.

The relay is gradually makes its way up the West Coast along the shorelines from Tijuana, Mexico to Canada as it passes from San Diego through Los Angeles and onwards to San Francisco.

The North American route includes all 50 US states. It started in New York on April 11th and will finish there on August 15th.
