Listen to one of marathon swimming’s most accomplished swimmers who held the English Channel record for 19 years.  Prepare to be enthralled by her descriptions of her incredible training regimen and the day she set the English Channel record in 1978 and the Catalina Channel single-crossing record in 1976 (a record that stands to this day). 

Learn about her mentality and what she did during her swims, including her 1977 20-hour double-crossing of the Catalina Channel. 

She candidly talks about her interactions with Gertrude Ederle, Lynne Cox, Siga Rose and Greta Andersen and some of history’s most accomplished Olympic swimming coaches.
