Pradeep Kumar Keeps Coaching And Developing India’s Best

The 2016 Dronacharya Award for Outstanding Coaches in Sports and Games in India was given to long-time swimming coach Pradeep Kumar Sreedharan. Among his many accolades was being named a member to the prestigious FINA Coaches Commission for the 2017 – 2021 term while serving as the race director for Swimmathon that includes 1 km, 2.5 km, 5 km and 10 km races at Colva Beach in Goa, India. He serves as the head coach of India’s premier swimming school, the Basavanagudi Aquatic Centre in Bengaluru and has trained more than 8,000 competitive swimmers who won 4,000 medals, of which 1,800 were gold in national competitions conducted by the Swimming Federation of India.
