For the first time since 1991, FINA will not offer a FINA UltraMarathon Swim Series this year. The pro circuit was previously called the FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix or the FINA Marathon Swimming World Series in the 1990’s.

Steven Munatones

Southern California native, born 1962, is the creator of the WOWSA Awards, Oceans Seven, Openwaterpedia, Citrus Corps, World Open Water Swimming Association, Daily News of Open Water Swimming, Global Open Water Swimming Conference.  He is Chief Executive Officer of KAATSU Global and KAATSU Research Institute.
