After Rob Ouldcott did his own English Channel swim in 2012, he served as the coach the Six Girls No Buoys, a team of six 13-year-old girls who crossed the English Channel in 2013 in 13 hours 6 minutes under the direction of escort pilot Eddie Spelling.

Rob Ouldcott, the 2012 recipient of the The Oldman Trophy as the BLDSA Swimmer of the Year, helped raise money for the Six Girls No Buoys team. The Serpentine Swim Club member is now onto another charity endurance event: The Brest2Ars cycling event.

Brest2Ars is a charity bike ride from Brest in Finisterre, Western France to Ars on Île de Ré where he is helping raise money for Breast Cancer Care and Prostate Cancer United Kingdom.
