Round And Round They Swim In Christiansborg
Courtesy of WOWSA, Huntington Beach, California. The beautiful 2 km course of the Round Christiansborg Swim around the Danish Parliament Christiansborg starts in the harbour basin at The Black Diamond. This is the national library in the heart of the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen.
Swimmers are divided into heats with a minimum age of 15 while spectators can follow the race by walking along the canals.
Eline Andersen of Sport Event Denmark explains more about the event, “After having enjoyed an epic swim in the clean water of the canal, Copenhagen offers a wide range of attractions such as the famous amusement park, Tivoli and experience the Nordic kitchen. Mark August 30th in your calendar and experience the heart of Copenhagen from a new angle.”
