Rubio’s Origins Come From The Ocean

We have to respect a fast food restaurant whose home page promotional video features the ocean [see above].

Ralph Rubio, the co-founder of Rubio’s, is a man who loves the ocean.

His popular fast-food Mexican food restaurant, a common sight throughout Southern California, was created because Rubio regularly visited Baja California in Mexico to surf where first ate a fish taco as a college student.

Later, with the help of his family, Rubio opened his first restaurant in San Diego that featured the Original Fish Tacos®. The chain has since expanded to 200 locations in California and Florida.
