Rudy Reyes, From Combat Diver To Marine Environmentalist

Rudy Reyes, a former combat diver and co-founder of FORCE BLUE, does triage (rescue, preservation and restoration) of coral reefs while protecting estuary and sharks and turtles as well as helping his fellow military veterans.
FORCE BLUE survives to fight on the front lines of ocean conservation while helping inspire veterans to stay or get engaged in an environmental mission worth fighting for.

Southern California native, born 1962, is the creator of the WOWSA Awards, Oceans Seven, Openwaterpedia, Citrus Corps, World Open Water Swimming Association, Daily News of Open Water Swimming, Global Open Water Swimming Conference.
