We greatly appreciate the safety aspects that Bruckner Chase, Michele Evans-Chase and the dedicated Ocean City Swim Club volunteers and staff incorporate into their weekly weekend ocean workout sessions in south New Jersey.
Among their many precautions, experienced Ocean City Swim Club members talk with newbies before every swim, conditions and currents are discussed, trained lifeguards are standing ready with fins and lifeguard floats at an easy-to-see course with a colorful flag indicates the start, finish and gathering point.
