See You Onshore, Standing Around The Olympic Marathon Swim

The London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games announced there are no more tickets left for the marathon swimming races on August 9th (women) and August 10th (men) in Hyde Park.

Despite the sold-out seating near the start and finish of the 10km marathon swim, fortunately tens of thousands of lower-cost (i.e., free) spectator locations are available around the Serpentine.

Spectators can enter Hyde Park, sit down or stand along the shoreline of the Serpentine and observe the pagentry of the marathon swim and the majestry of Olympic gold medal favorites Keri-Anne Payne, Thomas Lurz and Spyridon Gianniotis

The other Olympic events that are sold-out include track & field, marathon run, canoe slalom, cycling (BMX, road and track), equestrian, rhythmic gymnastics, modern pentathlon, pool swimming, synchronised swimming, tennis, triathlon and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
