Smoking Fast – Keaton Jones Captures His 5th World Title, 5th World Record at the IISA World Championship

Keaton Jones went 5 for 5 at the IISA 5th World Championship in Samoëns, France this week, finishing with 5 world titles + 5 world records. He also competed in two Team USA relays that finished out of the medals.

Team USA and coach Joe Zemaitis had high expectations for the 18-year-old from Arizona – and he delivered in a big way.

His blazing fast time of 25.22 broke the existing world record of silver medalist Michał Perl of 26.24. Perł also dropped under his world record time as did his Polish teammate and bronze medalist Filip Kolodziejski
