Snehan Neethirajan Anusa Does a Double Crossing of the Palk Strait

Snehan Neethirajan Anusa became the youngest swimmer at the age of 14 to complete a 60 km two-way crossing of the Palk Strait between Dhanushkodi (Arichalmunnai) in India and Talaimannar in Sri Lanka.

The young Indian teenager from Theni in the province of Tamil Nadu swam 19 hours 45 minutes, escorted by pilot Michealdass Fernando and observed by R. Loganathan.
