The statuesque hostesses who gracefully escorted the medalists to the awards podium at the Shunyi Olympic Rowing-Canoeing Park during 2008 Olympic 10K Marathon Swim qualification races were remarkably of uniform height.
Or, were they? Upon closer look, their high heels were of different heights.
