Stately, Splendid, Stunning Swim Starts Around Charleston

Swim Around Charleston race director Kathleen Wilson announced 40 solo swimmers and 9 relays started the 19.3 km circumnavigation swim around one of America’s most beautiful and oldest cities. She explains, “It has been such a challenging year for everyone and it was important to give it everything to make the swim take place this year. It is heartening to see swimmers, many with limited training, choosing to come and support the swim and support the Charleston community.

The warm water, tide assisted swim is a perfect solution to those who wish to recoup something from a lost season. Let’s end the season on a good note and have a good swim around Charleston.“
