Swim 8 Miles 4 Freedom
The 5th Annual Swim 4 Freedom will be trying to outdo itself again this August 4th. In last year’s 8-mile event in Lake Geneva in Wisconsin, it set records in terms of both participation and money raised. “There is no cost again this year to enter, but we ask that each participant raise at least US$300 for their swim,” explains Steele Whowell.
“As always all of the money goes to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.”
More and more people have been putting relays together for the Swim 4 Freedom. “This has not only been a lot of fun but also opened the door for many people that want to participate but are not up for 8 miles solo.”
