Swimming Across America
From New York to California, from Florida to Illinois, over 5,000 people are swimming across America this year.Under the leadership of Olympian Janel McArdle, the Swim Across America campaign is off to a record-breaking season.
From 100m dips in the ocean to long 25 km swims across sounds, Swim Across America attracts swimmers from 6 to 74.
Its charity events, all locally organized, includes recreational swimmers, masters swimmers, competitive swimmers, professional athletes, and Olympians. Families and friends often swim together or in honor of a loved one, for fun, to train, or just to make a difference.
