Syria’s Splendid Swimmer, Saleh Mohammad

Saleh Mohammad is a professional marathon swimmer from Syria who competes at major international competitions including FINA 10K Marathon Swimming World Cup and the FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix circuits.

He finished 19th at the 2008 Beijing Olympics in the Olympic 10K Marathon Swim and won the 5 km and the 10 km races at both the 2008 Asian Beach Games in Bali, Indonesia, and the 2010 Asian Beach Games in Muscat, Oman. He was named the Samsung MVP of the entire competition in 2008 and competed in the 2013 FINA World Championships in the 10 km and 25 km races in Barcelona, Spain.
