Norma Bastidas, a Mexican endurance athlete and mother, is on track during her swim leg to set the world's longest triathlon. Her attempt of a 100-mile (162 km) stage swim, in the Caribbean Sea, a bike of 2,740 miles (4,409 km), and a run of 700 miles (1,126 km) is based on her effort to bring awareness and funds to the scourge of human trafficking.
