On June 10th, Steve Sutton (father and swimmer) and Ryland Sutton (son and escort kayaker) completed the inaugural Palos Verdes Peninsula Swim under a thick early morning marine layer. They traversed 24.3 km in and around huge kelp forests, starting at Cabrillo Beach and reaching Redondo Beach in Southern California after 7 hours 15 minutes.
