The Spirit Orcas's K-pod completed a marathon swimming relay across the Lama Passage with swimmers Lidia White, Meliah Motchman, Dixon McGowen, Maria Sharock, and Cheyenne Furlong-Goos with coaches Drew Sabourin, Aly White and Susan Simmons, and crew members Marie and Kevin from Drifter's Cove, escort pilots MJ and Greg, escort paddlers Krissy and Ben with support from the Canadian Coast Guard from Cape Farewell in Bella Bella and mascot Simba.
