Karah Nazor Friberg, Ph.D. has swum in places as varied as San Francisco Bay, Tennessee River and Dover. As an English Channel swimmer and South End Rowing Club member, she also founded SWIM THE SUCK and COWS (Chattanooga Open Water Swimmers). Her passion for the sport led her to spend time giving back to the sport and acclimatizing to the cold water. Karah
