That’s A Whole Lotta Miles Represented

The past, present and future of open water swimming was evident at the 2012 Global Open Water Swimming Conference.

When attendees could mingle with luminaries in the sport like Ned Denison of Ireland, Nejib Belhedi of Tunisia, Dr. Harry Huffaker of Hawaii, and Dr. Penny Dean, there was a whole lotta discussions about everything from safety and strategy to hydration and hypothermia on the Queen Mary for 2 days.

These greats, who repeatedly proved themselves from the Pacific to the Atlantic, shared their experiences from the past and their expectations for the future.
