The Calm And Tranquility Of Glassy Seas

Open water swimmers often talk about the waves and wind, the turbulence and chop, the cold and the marine life of their sport.

The challenge of fighting through the dynamic elements is what makes the sport so tough.

But it is on those rare days out in the sea where the water conditions are flat and still, and the winds are non-existent that lead to a calm and tranquil surface that is equally memorable.

With the sun setting or the sun rising over the horizon, the serenity of swimming is a joy cherished by millions around the world.
