The Gathering of the Swimming Clans 2018
Courtesy of Ger Kennedy, Inverness, Scotland. Ger Kennedy is inviting fun-loving swimmers to The Gathering of the Swimming Clans in Inverness, Scotland between December 29th 2018 to January 1st 2019.
The Irish ice swimmer explains, “Swim in Loch Ness and other lochs and John O’Groats in the far north of Scotland, celebrate Hogmanay [the last day of the year] Inverness style.
The rules require participants to enjoy fun ice swimming with friends and local wild highlander swimmers wear family Tartan kilts, scarfs, hats or any Tartan item, drink Scottish whiskey and eat lots of haggis, and talk about Scotland and swimming.”
