On January 28th, eTown will host The Important Places, a story of a father and son who rediscover important places together.

Forest Woodward’s inspiration for creating this short film was the desire to shine a light on a series of threats facing the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon which was listed #1 on American River‘s 2015 report America’s Most Endangered Rivers.

We’re proud to host this special evening inspired by water. This unique event fits in perfectly with our commitment to engage our audience around sustainability and fostering a spirit of community,” said Nick Forster, Executive/Creative Director of eTown about the special showing in Boulder, Colorado. “We are very excited about this night in particular – not just to entertain people with music from David Amram, but to inspire them to become stewards of our rivers with wild adventures and powerful stories. This night fits perfectly with our vision for eTown Hall.”

American Rivers protects wild rivers, restores damaged rivers, and conserves clean water for people and nature.
