So he made the most of the opportunity presented to him by Mother Nature on his last leg of the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming on August 1st.
Nicholas completed his English Channel crossing in 11 hours 22 minutes under the escort of Stuart Gleeson aboard the Sea Leopard to become the 71st individual in history to join the Triple Crown.
