Thomas Allen Wins Two In Cyprus

But it was the closest of margins and great competition on the two-day event that was held in combination with the Cyprus National Open Water Championships.
In the 5 km, Allen’s victory was by the tiniest of margins: 58:06.75 vs. 58:06.76. In the 10 km, Allen won by only slightly more in the 10 km by a mere 1 second: 2:00:02 vs. 2:00:03.
On the women’s side, Flora Sibalin of Hungary just outsprinted Danielle Huskisson of Great Britain in the 5 km race by 2 seconds. But Huskisson came back and comfortably took the longer 10 km race.
