Troy Prinsloo, Kyna Pereira Win Multiple Times In Capital K

Troy Prinsloo is an established cross-over star and a two-time Olympian from South Africa. Kyna Pereira is a young up-and-coming cross-over star who is making her own marks in both the pool and open water.

Prinsloo won this past weekend’s Sunday Tribune Capital K 2.5 km race in South Africa in a close victory over Kyna Pereira.

But KwaZulu Natal Aquatics’ 17-year old Pereira, one of the fastest distance freestylers in South Africa, also was the first women in the 1 km, 3 km and 5 km races in the Midmar Dam. They both had a busy, busy weekend as they gear up for a busy, busy season.
