Oussama Mellouli made two communities happy with his gold medal marathon swim victory in the Serpentine today: his native country of Tunisia and his adopted USC (University of Southern California) family in America. His brilliant strategy throughout the 10,000m swim combined with his powerful strokes on the last two loops led to a dominant victory in the Serpentine.
