Bačka Topola is located 40 km from the Hungarian border. The international highway passes right next to it. The race is held on the Backotopol lake, which is considered the cleanest lake in Vojvodina. This race has a long tradition and is the only one in Serbia that has an Olympic race of 10 km.

There are races of 3.km, 5.km, 7.5km and 10.km.
