Johns Pond offers the ideal venue with clean, clear, and warm water temperatures. Historically, the water temperature has ranged from the low-mid 70’s in June!! Free parking is available directly adjacent to the venue.
The following events are offering using a 1 mile rectangular course (going counter-clockwise). Wetsuit and non-wetsuit divisions are available.
Age Requirement: The minimum age requirement for the 3 mile and 1 mile races is 11 years of age. The minimum age for the .5 mile race is 10 years of age. Parents: please contact Bill Burnett with any questions or to request a special consideration be made for your child.
Transfers: No race transfers are allowed. On-site packet pickup will require photo proof of identity (driver’s license, passport, etc). Participants who swap or sell their race number will not be allowed to race.
Refunds: No refunds will be granted due to injury or sickness prior to race day. No credits or refunds will be given if the race is cancelled or the timing or date of the event is altered for reasons outside the control of the race organizers or if the race course is changed due to poor weather.
All athletes will be chip timed which will provide an exact swim time and an immediate age group placing. Your entry fee also includes a swim cap and a finishers t-shirt (to all who register before May 15th). Due to COVID, the post-race food will be limited and there will not be an “official” awards ceremony.
Entry Fees:
3 MILE and 1 MILE athletes = $45
1/2 MILE = $30
NOTE: All athletes must register online. Due to COVID protocols, we are not accepting “event day” registrations. If you’d like to swim, register online!

7:45 AM – Parking lot opens
8:00 AM – Athlete Check-In Opens
9:00 AM – 3 Mile Athletes Start (time-trial start – one athlete leaves every 10-15 seconds)
9:10 AM (approx) – 1 Mile Athletes Start (time-trial start – one athlete leaves every 10-15 seconds)
9:20 AM (approx) – 1/2 Mile Athletes Start (time-trial start – one athlete leaves every 10-15 seconds)
