The D’Ag Dash is a brand new multiple distance open water swim race from Hobie Cat Beach to Cape D’Aguilar on Hong Kong Island. The 4-in-1 racing event includes Hong Kong’s first-ever 10km swim race, as well as 5km, 1.8km, and 900m to suit different abilities.
Cape D’Aguilar, or Hok Tsui (鶴咀), is the peninsula located on the southeast side of Hong Kong Island. It shapes like a crane’s beak, thus inspired us to name the race 鶴游 (Hok Yau), which literally means Crane’s Swim. The 10km course leads to some of the most beautiful and picturesque caves and rock formations on the island. The 5km course leads to the former Cape D’Aguilar Battery from WWII.
The 1.8km & 900m are held in the scenic Tai Tam Bay, and perfect for those who are training for a triathlon race or love to sprint.
The D’Ag Dash is an incredible day of swimming for swimmers of all abilities.
The event is organized by AVRA and supports Splash Foundation and Nesbitt Centre.
