Valerio Cleri And Ana Marcela Cunha Voted Best Athletes
Valerio Cleri and Ana Marcela Cunha were voted the Best Athletes in Open Water in 2010 in a global selection organized by the FINA.The FINA Aquatics World Magazine organized the voting by 570 individuals from FINA, media representatives and the 202 national federation around the world.
Valerio of Italy won a 10K gold medal and 25K silver medal at the 2010 FINA World Open Water Swimming Championships in Quebec, Canada while Ana Marcela of Brazil won the 5K bronze medal in the world championships and was the overall winner of the FINA 10K Marathon Swimming World Cup series.
