Watch Big Wakes At Waimea Bay Today

Waimea Bay on the North Shore of Oahu is the renowned site of big wave surfing.

Today at 9 am Hawaii time, Waimea Bay will be site of some mighty big wakes when the top young swimmers from Australia, Japan, USA, Canada and New Zealand face off in the final event of the 2012 Junior Pan Pacific Swimming Championships.

The swimmers entered in the 10km course that consists of six 1.6km loops include the following:

3. Chris Deegan, Australia
4. Jordan Harrison, Australia

The Waimea Bay course today should be gorgeous and flat and will be live streamlined online here on the USA Swimming website at 9 am Honolulu time.
