Greta Andersen, a dual inductee in the International Swimming Hall of Fame and the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame, talks about her Olympic pool swimming experiences and achievements prior to swimming and setting records in solo marathon swims, channel crossings and lake races around the world in an Olympic Channel special presentation here.

She explains about the dramatic effects an injection caused during the women’s finals of the 400m freestyle at the 1948 London Olympics – and how she views the inevitable unexpected events that happened in her life.
