World Junior Open Water Swimming Championship

A live global audience watched South Africa’s Michelle Weber win the inaugural World Junior Open Water Swimming Championships girl’s 5 km in Welland, Ontario, Canada over two young Germans Lena-Sophie Bermel and Patricia-Lucia Wartenberg.

Nearly 500 people from 36 countries watched the live streaming service online here. The number of spectators are expected to increase over the 3-day championships hosted by Swimming Canada.
