The Maratón Acuático Rio Coronda (or the Maratón Acuática Internacional Santa Fe – Coronda) is a professional marathon swim held annually in Santa Fe, Argentina and is part of the FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix series. The 57 km (35.4 mi) course is down the Coronda River where swimmers face many currents and eddies. The race is held in February among the most competitive, experienced and fastest professional marathon swimmers in the world. The race offers US$11,000 in prize money as part of the global FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix circuit. It is one of the World’s Top 100 Open Water Swims.
