Nadando Cerca del Cielo (English: swimming near heaven or Torneo Internacional de Natación en Aguas Abiertas‘) is an 7.5 km (3.8-mile) point-to-point high-altitude lake swim (both soloists and relays) from the Isla de la Luna to the Isla del Sol in Lake Titicaca, Bolivia in 14°C (58°F) water between Copacabana and Bolivia. Nadando Cerca del Cielo is organized by the Torneo Internacional de Natación. It is one of the World’s Top 100 Open Water Swims, one of the World’s Top 100 Island Swims, and one of the World’s High-Altitude Open Water Swims.
