The Race For The Conch Eco-SeaSwim features 1/2 mile, 1-mile and 2.4-mile sea swims in the beautiful turquoise waters of Grace Bay in the Turks & Caicos Islands. It also offers a 100-meter swim for children 10 and under. All races are held on the last Saturday of June. The annual event was founded by Ben Stubenberg and Chloe Zimmerman in 2010 and has been named by WOWSA as one of the top 100 open water races in the world.
The race is a non-profit event that donates the bulk of proceeds to the Provo Children’s Home and other local charities.
Race organizers work closely with Turks & Caicos government officials to ensure compliance with COVID-19 mitigation efforts on race day. For entry requirements and travel authorization, please go to the TCI Tourist Board website https://turksandcaicostourism.com
The Turks and Caicos Islands is a British Overseas Territory located 550 miles southeast of Miami and southeast of the Bahamas. Many major airlines fly daily to Providenciales (PLS) from several cities in US, Canada, and UK. The island has a many excellent resorts and airbnbs to select from, as well as supermarkets and a variety of cafes. For the event, we recommend staying in the Grace Bay Area.
