Travessia dos Fortes – Praia de Copacabana is a popular open water swimming competition held at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro that was established in 2001 by the Brazilian Army. It is a 3.8 km course with the start at Forte de Copacabana and the finish at Forte do Leme. It is one of the World’s Top 100 Open Water Swims.
