WOWSA Awards Voting Coming To An End

As the online voting for the 2015 WOWSA Awards comes to an end, thousands of individuals have voted.

* 26,213 individuals to date have voted for the 2015 World Open Water Swimming Man of the Year.
* 18,197 individuals to date have voted for the 2015 World Open Water Swimming Performance of the Year.
* 17,291 individuals to date individuals to date have voted for the 2015 World Open Water Swimming Woman of the Year.
* 7,924 have voted for the 2015 World Open Water Swimming Offering of the Year.

Lewis Pugh, United Nations Patron of the Oceans, will present the annual World Open Water Swimming Awards at the Big Chill Swim International Winter Swimming World Cup on Friday February 5th at the Low Wood Bay Resort Hotel and Marina in the Lake District’s Windermere, England.

The 2014 WOWSA Award recipients (Estonia’s Henri Kaarma, World Open Water Swimming Man of the Year, Russia’s Dr. Nataliya Fatyanova, World Open Water Swimming Woman of the Year, Russia’s Alexandr Brylin and Grigorii Prokopchuk, World Open Water Swimming Performance of the Year, and Ireland’s Step Out Of The Ordinary Blue Letter Campaign, World Open Water Swimming Offering of the Year) will also be in attendance, in addition to the 2015 recipients, to receive their honors.
