SwimÖresund -A new Channel Crossing from Denmark to Sweden. The new swim and governing association takes you across the beautiful strait ‘Öresund’, which connects Denmark and Sweden. La Isla Open Water is the only one 20k and 30k competition in Presa Zimapán, Cadereyta de Montes, Querétaro, Mexico held at the end of October. It is one of the Mexico’s Top 50 Open Water Swims. Aqua Champ Swimathon at the lake shore of Aamby Valley in India. Aqua Champ Aamby Valley is hosted by Champ Endurance one of India’s biggest fitness promoting community for running, swimming, cycling.

SwimBig Challenge is a personal open water swimming challenge, created by Team Kohlmann. The idea is that you set a goal of deep sea swimming in open water of 10, 20 or 30 km. International Swimming Marathon Port-Burgas – This is a special open water event held at the marine station in Port-Burgas, Bulgaria, where swimmers are shielded from the powerful currents and waves of the open sea by the harbor breakwater. The event is organized by Bulgarian swimmer Tsanko Tsankov, who holds world and European records, in partnership with the Municipality of Burgas, Port of Burgas, and the Naval Forces of the Republic of Bulgaria. The Derwent River Big Swim is a long-distance swimming event that takes place in Hobart, Tasmania. The event is organized by the Australian Long Distance Swimming Federation and involves a 34 km swim from the New Norfolk Bridge to the Tasman Bridge in Hobart.

ʻAu I Nā Mokupuni ʻEkolu Maui Nui Swim is a group event- invited swimmers swim tandem-solos across each channel with a single time recorded for each crossing. The event committee aims to select swimmers of comparable ability and speed. There is one escort boat and swimmers must stay together. This 3-day 3-channel swim is for experienced swimmers only.
